For the vibrant public plinth of The Pulse of Amsterdam on the Zuidas, BigBrands provided the complete delivery of loose furniture and lighting. Based on the interior design by Beyond Space, we brought this high-end 1,800 m² ‘third space’ (also known as The Blurring Zone) to life.
The space exudes a dynamic mix of hospitality, culture, and design. In the lively meeting areas, around the food spots and near the cinema entrance, we translated this vision into an eclectic selection of inviting furniture. Comfortable lounge elements combined with refined lighting create a warm and atmospheric environment for any time of day.
Across this generous plinth, various functions merge seamlessly. A thoughtful mix of distinctive seating and sustainable design arrangements featuring brands like Artifort and HAY, naturally connects relaxation, informal collaboration and connection. This stimulates the desired ‘blurring’ between work and lifestyle while ensuring the quality and durability required for intensive public use.
We are proud of the result: an iconic, forward-thinking public hub that enriches the Zuidas and connects people.
