A new chapter for an Amsterdam icon
In collaboration with DDOCK, we gave the ground floor of the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel a fresh, bold makeover, just in time for its 50th anniversary.

Europe’s very first Marriott now welcomes guests through a series of connected spaces, each with its own character, yet united in the Great Room experience. From the warm elegance of the Lobby, M Club, and Library to the Dynamic Lounge, every space feels like an extension of your own room, cozy, personal, and effortlessly stylish.
The design is inspired by the bold beauty of Amsterdam’s Brutalist architecture, its layered landscapes, and the city’s open character. Featuring rich materials, bespoke furniture, and more than ten artworks by local talents, each piece is connected to Dutch heritage and the city’s vibrant creative energy.
